Become a ProQual Centre
Becoming an approved ProQual AB centre is a straightforward, supportive process designed with training providers in mind. Whether you deliver in construction, health & social care, hair & beauty or across multiple sectors, our streamlined approval process makes it easy to get you started.
How to Get Started:
Step 1: Submit Your Application
Download and complete our New Centre Application Form in as much detail as possible, then submit this to enquiries@proqualab.com.
Step 2: We Review & Support
Our Operations Team will review your application, complete due diligence and risk checks, and request any supporting documents. A member of our team will guide you through the process.
Step 3: EQA Approval Visit
An External Quality Assurer (EQA) will carry out an approval visit to confirm your centre meets ProQual AB’s requirements. This supportive visit ensures you have the appropriate systems, resources, and staff in place.
Step 4: Begin Delivering Regulated Qualifications
Once approved, you’ll become an official ProQual AB Centre and can start delivering our Ofqual-regulated qualifications.
Before You Apply:
- UK-Based Only – Centres must be located in the UK and have suitable facilities for EQA visits (temporary spaces not accepted).
- ICO Registration – Centres must be registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). If you're not yet registered, you can do so here.
- UKPRN – You must hold a UK Provider Reference Number (UKPRN). You can obtain one for free by registering here.
- Qualified Staff – At least one qualified assessor and one qualified IQA, with occupational competence in the qualifications you plan to deliver.
